Attendee’s dressed-to-the-nines will walk the red carpet, pose for photos taken by Matthew Wagner of Matthew J. Wagner Fine Photography and enjoy pre-Oscar festivities and entertainment at the First Annual Farmington Valley Film Commission Oscar Night! The party will be held on February 26th at the Farmington Gardens on Rte 4 in Farmington.
Guests will watch the 84th Annual Academy Awards on a large screen while savoring the flavors of heavy hors d'oeuvres, carving stations and dessert.
The evening will be hosted by Maggie Slysz, actress, news reporter, model, and on-air personality for the Connecticut Lottery drawing on Fox 61. Maybe you'll be the winner when she crowns FVFC’s First Oscar Award-winner for "Most Glamorous"
The evening will begin at 7:30 and conclude after the final Oscar is presented.
The cost is $50.00 per person or $95.00 per couple and includes food stations, delicious desserts and entertainment. Cash bar is available.

Mob’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Celebration –

Avon, CT: Start off the evening with a bang! Join “Uncle Franco” and his mobsters in a professional dinner theatre production. Guests never know whom to expect. But at this thrilling, hilarious, murder mystery show, they’ll know what to expect – a great meal and fantastic evening. AspenDream Productions®, CT longest-running murder mystery comedy dinner show, puts on an action-packed performance where everyone is considered a suspect. The interactive show makes an appearance at Bridge St. Live in Collinsville on Thursday, March 22, 2012.
Guests will be assigned a name tag and are encouraged to attend dressed ready to play the role of a gangster, movie star, politician, and friend to the well-respected “Uncle Franco”, head of the New York Mob Family. Someone is killed and no one can leave until the mystery is solved by the FBI while enjoying dinner, lots of dancing, singing, and drinks (cash bar).
